The IV Congress of the CyberSociety (http://www.cibersociedad.net/congres2009/) is a new approach for online discussion and knowledge sharing, which this year revolves around the motto “Analog crisis, digital future”

The new conception of the event, completely redesigned in order to make it even more participative, aims (in addition to being a meeting point between

academics, institutions and civil society) to establish a virtual congress model in accordance with the new collaborative phenomena of the Internet, converting it into a cooperative and distributed experience, that can can have distinct approximations to “cybersociety”.

Enric Senabre Hidalgo, manager of the event coordination team, will explain the organizational details and the different phases that have constituted the preparation of the congress, detailing the steps of a virtual meeting of reference in the Latinamerican world that will reach its maximum activity at the end of

November 2009.
